Anduriel
Vampire Cleric of Na-lok
When a kindly priest of Bes-Tera, Goddess of Healing and Protection, rescued an orphan child, he strongly suspected the boy possessed celestial blood. Father Garan named the child Michael and hoped that he would follow in his footsteps and join the clergy.
The boy did indeed possess Angelic blood, but the nature of this birthright proved to be much darker than the priest had suspected.
He would often find the child alone, speaking to the darkness, and then one day the shadows began speaking back. They named his Anduriel and called him to the service of Na-lok, the God of Night and Death.
Now Anduriel, son of the Dark Angel, revels in service to his new patron and embraces the powers of the night.
Sister Fadaveir
Paladin of Bes-tera
Sister Aledure Fadaveir, an anointed knight and priestess of Bes-tera, goddess of healing, has seen more of the world and the planes in her short lifetime than most ever will. Always a dutiful girl, Aledure was called to serve Bes-tera in a vision. She channeled the goddess’ power against an undead threat, saving her village. She immediately went to the city of Leyer and joined the Hope Maidens, the knightly order of Bes-tera.
She has served the goddess ever since, offering light, healing, and redemption to all and a castigating strike with her blessed greatsword to those who fight against her.
Gizzik
Witch devotee of Segrund
Gizzik was the son of the witch Elspeth and a long-forgotten ogre whom she likely devoured. His mother, who had always wanted a daughter, cruelly rejected her son and treated him like a servant.
Although his mother never taught him any magic, Gizzik was able to watch Elspeth practice her dark arts and learn some magic of his own.
One night, a band of roving knights came and slew the witch Elspeth and burned her corpse and house. Gizzik escaped, and was reveling in his new-found freedom when the goddess Segrund spoke to him and gave him new orders.
Aylin
Black Cloak of Vauna
Aylin was orphaned as a child when her parents joined an expedition into the Battled Hills to recover ancient relics of the Tarsyrian Empire. Growing up on the streets, Aylin faced both the real threat of starvation and prejudice against her fiendish heritage as a tiefling and further persecution when she fell in with a witch. Luckily, Aylin attracted the eye of Darkmother Maugra, head of the Coven of Twilight, church of the Goddess Vauna.
Aylin chose to stay and take vows as an Accepted, a calling in which she soon came to revel. Aylin has come to love Vauna and the mission of the church.
On her journeys, Aylin has taken particular pleasure in tormenting a priestess of Vhara named Lavender who represents everything Aylin sees as wrong with law and order. Lavender is obsessed with bringing Aylin to justice for her “crimes”, which is a source of endless amusement to the tiefling. With the reformation of the Divine Fellowship, Aylin has come to believe that perhaps she and Lavender are connected for another purpose. If nothing else, she means to steer the paladin of Vhara in a direction for her own ends.
Lachlan
Bard Paladin of Sin-del
The son of a famous actress and a wandering priest of Sin-del, Goddess of Love, Lachlan Du’Lay was raised among the upper echelon of Talispun’s artistic elite.
Trained in the bardic arts by the finest tutors, Lachlan grew bored with his famous mother’s social circle and yearning to learn more of his father, he began to visit Sin-del’s temple in Talispun, the House of Repose. It was there that Lachlan found his true calling and embraced the path of the paladin.
Now Lachlan dreams of traveling to the Adari Republic and joining the Heart Seekers, an elite order of knights who serve Sin-del and travel the land fighting to preserve beauty and love. In this way, Lachlan hopes to better understand his father and who Sin-del expects him to become.
F'thora Mikitas
Druid devotee of Fin-hefara
Played by guest star, John Christie, Fthora Mikitas is a druid in service to Fin-hefara, and a true believer in the cycle of life and death. Undeath interrupts that cycle and keeps new life from being brought forth. He tends to a small shrine to his Goddess with the help of his apprentice, Markum.
A lot of the job is maintaining a graveyard where the bodies of famous heroes are interred, but occasionally people visit the shrine asking for blessings or funeral processions. Kind, and always welcoming he is a calm breeze in a sea of turmoil. Less poetically, he is very chill.
Morrowkahn
Monk Cleric of Hemeena
Born to a heroic father and an honorable mother, much of Morrowkhan’s childhood was spent studying the ways of Hemeena at the Citadel of Perpetual Light.
Being a child to seemingly the ultimate “power couple,” Morrowkhan feels the crushing weight of their legacy upon his shoulders. While thinking he will never escape his parent’s shadow, he receives a vision from Hemeena herself, giving him a great and dire task to complete and an opportunity to make his own name.
Lavender
Paladin -Psion of Vhara
Lavender grew up in the city of Manor Eiden, the City of Wizards, under the watchful eye of Vhara’s disciples. She was well loved by them, responding positively to the principles of Vhara. As an adult paladin of the faith, she ventured out of the town regularly, responding to the call of Vhara to bring corrupt magic-users back for retribution.
As the first person whose mind she couldn't read, Aylin became something of an obsession for Lavender.
Recently, Lavender received a note on her pillow from Aylin about the tiefling’s recent encounter with the cult of Asmodeus, the God of Sin, an enemy to both their faiths. Lavender’s humiliation at the tiefling getting so close unnoticed was masked by her desire to get to the town to have a look at what Aylin’s note mentioned. Her curiosity only grew when she received a mission from her temple to investigate a “Gizzick, son of the dreaded hag, Elspeth” for potential criminality.
